Here is the cover layout of my latest book, an imagined memoir of my grandmother. Born in Ukraine in 1885 as Anna Grossman, she married my grandfather, kept the family together for ten years while he was working in the US (and while WW I, the Spanish Flu, the Russian Revolution, etc. occurred), and finally brought their five children to America in 1923. My mother was one of those children. Their story unfolds through one day, as my grandmother daydreams and remembers and family members visit.
